Casa Marvela is booked in three configurations, and all three are booked and paid online. The full villa is four bedrooms on two levels, gathered by a private elevator, from $24,000 MXN a night. The ground-floor residence, of three bedrooms, from $17,000. The penthouse, of one bedroom, from $10,000.

The standard is eight guests across the four bedrooms. The maximum is twelve, adding the two folding beds the house keeps available.

Yes, both are booked and paid online, with your dates and your total on screen before you pay. The ground-floor residence has three bedrooms on one level, a garage for two cars, and goes from six to eight guests with its two folding beds: from $17,000 MXN a night, with a single cleaning fee of $4,000. The penthouse has one bedroom on the first floor, a garage for two cars, and goes from two to four: from $10,000 MXN a night, with a single cleaning fee of $2,000. In all three configurations the additional guest is $1,500 MXN a night.

Two nights, in all three configurations. On some dates the calendar asks for more consecutive nights: the quote tells you the moment you choose, before you pay.

An elevator that connects the ground floor with the first floor and serves this house alone. It is what allows two independent units to be booked as a single four-bedroom villa, with no stairs between them.

Yes. In the full villa the rate covers eight guests and from the ninth onward $1,500 MXN per person per night is added. The same fee applies in the ground-floor residence from the seventh guest and in the penthouse from the third. The charge is shown itemised before you pay.

There is a single payment per stay, however many nights you stay: $4,000 MXN for the full villa and for the ground-floor residence, and $2,000 for the penthouse. It comes included in the total shown before payment.

16% VAT and the 4% Baja California Sur lodging tax are added to the subtotal, each calculated on that subtotal. Both are already inside the total you see on screen.

By card on the same booking screen, seeing the complete total before you confirm. The charge is made in Mexican pesos and your confirmation arrives the moment the payment clears. Those are the two official channels of the house, and bank details come from nowhere else.

The house is handed over from 3 PM and vacated at 12 PM. If the following day is open on the calendar, a late departure is arranged with us and confirmed before your final day.

There is a private garage for two cars. Both the ground-floor residence and the penthouse have their own, so you depend on neither the highway nor a visitor car park.

An infinity pool facing the sea, beach club, beach bar, solarium, fire pit, equipped gym, tennis court, kayaks, gardens and walkways to the sea. All inside Playa de La Paz, a gated community with twenty-four-hour security.

It is El Caimancito, the community beach. It is reached along the garden walkways, without crossing a street, and the water is the Sea of Cortez at its stillest, with no open swell.

At Carretera Escénica a Pichilingue Km 6.5, 23060 La Paz, Baja California Sur. On the highway to Pichilingue rather than in the centre of the city: you arrive by car and leave it in the garage of the house.
